How to jump

1. ↑↓GateEach gate is worth the distance its speed gives, as in real competition scoring: higher costs points, lower earns them if you still reach 95% of hill size
2. SpacePush-offHit the green on the push bar. Early the needle swings fast and pays the most speed; later it is slower and easier but pays less. Watch the wind, and go within 10 seconds
3. SpaceTake-offJump right at the edge of the table
4. ←→FlightTap to lean back or forward and keep the marker in the green
5. SpaceLandingOpen up for the telemark before touchdown. Too late, or not at all, and you fall
6. ←→TouchdownTap to lay your skis flat to the slope before they hit the snow. Past hill size the snow comes up harder: the further you fly, the flatter they must be

Hard mode takes the gauges away: only the push bar shows, and its green is narrower. You time the take-off, hold the flight and set the landing by eye, and the wind blows harder.
